Jordan Has A Shocker!

Well, you can’t win them all! The big news of the day is that Jordan Spieth carded a four over 74 on the first day of the Barclays, and confirmed that he is human after all. Maybe.
It’s his worst round of the season, and in his first appearance since replacing Rory at the top of the World Rankings. Them golfing gods do like to have a good laugh!
His front nine was solid enough, with two birdies and seven pars taking him to a two under 34.
So all was good with the world. But his back nine was all over the place with 5 bogeys and a double bogey. He even three putted the eighteenth from 30 feet to end on +4, tied ninety-fifth for the lead!
"After the tee shots, that is the worst round I've played in years," Spieth said. "It was really a very unique round for this year. I hit my first 11 fairways today and that's really hard to do out here.”
"I'll do what I've done best and bounce back and I'll come back tomorrow strong. I'm not a fan of the course but I've also won on course that I didn't think fit me very well so I still know I can still shoot a low round.”
"I played the front nine in two under and should have really been four or five. Typically when I hit the fairways, I'm not over par. That's what was weird about the round."
Meanwhile Bubba Watson had a much better day of it, shooting a -5 to tie the lead with Spencer Levin and Camilo Villegas, whose last win was at The Wyndham back in 2014.
