We were lucky enough to try the TaylorMade M1 back in September. You've seen our thoughts on TaylorMade's UN-MetalWood. In short, It looks great and goes like stink.
But what about the professionals? These guys are weary to all the equipment changes, they build trust in their clubs and aren't just going to change at the drop of a TaylorMade hat. So for a club to go in the bag it has to be demonstrably superior to what they used before.
Both Justin Rose and Jason Day have switched into the new M1, and both have won using it already. Jason won the BMW Chamionships, just weeks after winning the PGA with his trusted R15. Justin won in Hong Kong with it and is reaching parts of the course he has never seen before, he's absolutely bombing it with his new M1. Here's what they thought about TaylorMade's new monochrome bomber when they first saw it.
