TItleist are on a roll this year. The Pro V1 is on fire. The 915 Woods have been a massive success. And Titleist irons win a tour event seemingly every other week. The one area people don’t to think of Titleist though is forgiving mid handicap irons. Thongchai Jaidee stormed through the field with a seven under 64 to take the lead at the Porsche European Open. We hand’t mentioned the 45 year old Thai player once in our roundups before today, as he zoomed 14 places up and through a crowded leaderboard at Golf Resort Bad Griesbach.

Graeme Storm took the lead with Ross Fosher and Charl Schwartzel at the Porsche European Open at Golf Resort Bad Griesbach. Schwartzel, The 2011 Masters Champ hasn’t won an event for two years, shot a flawless 66 on his way to the top of the leaderboard, while Fisher shot a round of the day 65 to join him. Stormy hit a 67 with an eagle on 10 to kickstart his round.

Dustin Johnson has had some year. His sabbatical didn't seem to affect his golf, as he came out firing on all cylinders winning the WGC Cadillac Championship. He's had a son, Tatum, with the lovely Paulina Gretzky. And he came within a putt of the winning the US Open. So it's no surprise he fancied treating himself to a new house.
