Norrman and Elvira lead Cazoo Open

Vincent Norrman and Nacho Elvira share the lead at the Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale after carding seven-under-par rounds of 64. Norrman, making just his fourth European Tour start this week, set the clubhouse target with a bogey-free round and was joined on that number by Elvira, who carded nine birdies and an eagle on The Twenty Ten Course at The Celtic Manor Resort.

As the sun shone brightly once again at Royal St George's, Collin Morikawa held his nerve, carding a final-round four-under 66 to take the Open title at his first effort. The American held off former champions Jordan Speith and Louis Oosthuizen to win by two strokes.

Oosthuizen holds on to Open lead

Louis Oosthuizen did not look as assured on day three of the Open Championship but still finished the day with a one shot lead. Oosthuizen who started the day with a two shot advantage was joined in the lead late on by both Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa but a birdie at the 17th saw him grab a slender heading into Sunday.

The 26-year-old opened her round with a bogey on the first hole but made a birdie on the eighth to make the turn in 36.
