Getting your first win on the LPGA Tour is hard. But if you ask 31-year-old Marina Alex, the second one is even more so. Alex began the final round of the Palos Verdes Championship presented by Bank of America three shots back of 54-hole leader Hannah Green and dug deep on the final day, posting a five-under 66 to beat Rolex Rankings No. 1 Jin Young Ko by a single stroke at ten-under overall.

Sweden’s Maja Stark claimed a third LET win in eight months after recording a five-stroke victory at the Women’s NSW Open. The 22-year-old led from day one at Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club and carded a fourth round of 70 (-2) to finish on fifteen-under-par and seal the win ahead of compatriot Johanna Gustavsson.

Thai amateur Ratchanon “TK” Chantananuwat fired a final round of 65 (-7) to secure a two-shot victory at the Trust Golf Asian Mixed Cup and become the youngest male player to win of the game’s major Tours. The 15-year-old was impressive throughout his week at the Waterside Course at Siam Country Club recording rounds of 63, 70, 70 and 65 to finish at a total of 20-under-par.

Scottie Scheffler confirmed his status as world number one by claiming his first major title in the 86th Masters at Augusta National. The American had the luxury of being able to four-putt the last hole and still win by three shots from a late-charging Rory McIlroy. Scheffler closed with a 71 to finish at ten-under-par ahead of the charging McIlroy who lit up the course with a final round 64.

The duo held the lead overnight at the Waterside Course at Siam Country Club after firing rounds of 63 (-9) in the co-sanctioned event with the Asian Tour, which has a purse of USD $750,000.
