Sweden’s Maja Stark claimed a third LET win in eight months after recording a five-stroke victory at the Women’s NSW Open. The 22-year-old led from day one at Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club and carded a fourth round of 70 (-2) to finish on fifteen-under-par and seal the win ahead of compatriot Johanna Gustavsson.
Adri Arnaus defeated Oliver Bekker in a six-hole playoff to win his first DP World Tour title in stunning fashion at the 2022 Catalunya Championship. The home favourite started the day seven shots off the lead and did not look a likely winner when he turned in 34, with Bekker and Laurie Canter doing battle at the top of the leaderboard at PGA Catalunya Golf and Wellness.
Although it wasn’t the red number that 36-hole leader Hannah Green was looking for on Moving Day at the Palos Verdes Championship presented by Bank of America, she was still very proud of her grit on day three.
Oliver Bekker will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the 2022 Catalunya Championship as he looks to turn his fine form into a first DP World Tour victory. The South African had a share of the lead after an opening 66 but entered the weekend one shot behind Englishman Laurie Canter at PGA Catalunya Golf and Wellness.
