Vincent Norrman and Nacho Elvira share the lead at the Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale after carding seven-under-par rounds of 64. Norrman, making just his fourth European Tour start this week, set the clubhouse target with a bogey-free round and was joined on that number by Elvira, who carded nine birdies and an eagle on The Twenty Ten Course at The Celtic Manor Resort.
As the sun shone brightly once again at Royal St George's, Collin Morikawa held his nerve, carding a final-round four-under 66 to take the Open title at his first effort. The American held off former champions Jordan Speith and Louis Oosthuizen to win by two strokes.
Louis Oosthuizen did not look as assured on day three of the Open Championship but still finished the day with a one shot lead. Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom fired a round of 66 to lead the Gant Ladies Open by two strokes on the first day at Aura Golf. Wikstrom, who is currently 12th in the 2021 Race to Costa del Sol, carded a round of five-under-par which included seven birdies and two bogeys to lead.
