We hit the cross bar again last week with Adrian Otaegui 45/1 losing in the final of Australia super six. Then over in America at the Genesis Open both our selections Adam Scott 38/1 and Marc Leishman 55/1 got to within 1 shot of the lead in final round only to lose out to the slowest player in world golf J B Holmes, the PGA need to act fast to eradicate slow play as it will stop people watching the game!!
A unique event over in Australia this week: The first three rounds are stroke play but on Sunday the top 24 play knockout match play over 6 holes, with the top 8 getting a bye into second round of knockout. Over in USA we have the Genesis Open that boasts the best quality field so far this year!!!
A valiant effort from TomLewis 74/1 to reel in eventual winner Dustin Johnson over in Saudi Arabia last weekend, he was -5 under after five holes but after getting to within one shot of the leader he came third!! This week's tips right here...
This week we focus on the Saudi International and the Phoenix Waste Management.

So close last week at the Sony Open with Andrew Putnam 69/1 leading until the final stages eventually finishing 2nd to Matt Kuchar. But now I focus on the Desert Classic.
Great to start the year with a winner in Hawaii with our 2 point selection Xander Schauffele winning at 25/1 from our other selection Gary Woodland at 29/1 by 1 shot having equalled the course record in the final round!!! A profit of 42 points.
Happy New Year to all GolfPunk followers. Just the one event this week in Hawaii, it’s a small but select field in which I do fear the two favourites, DustinJohnson and Jon Rahm the biggest hitters in the field but with wind forecast I think and hope there is value to be had elsewhere??? 9 points risked.
