Betting tips from the Spiv!!!

He's been a hard man to get hold of this week the Spiv. Last seen going house to house selling silk stockings to lonely housewives, we looked for him everywhere. And by everywhere we mean all the local boozers. We looked in the Dog and Duck, and The Plough. He wasn't in The Red Lion either.

We were giving up hope, when the Brigadier spotted some smoke signals off in the distance. "B-E-N-S-T-O-W-3-0-0-2-1-EW" he said slowly but surely.
"By joves, Ben Stow 300-1 EW, it must be the Spiv".

God knows what sot of mischief the Spiv has got himself into, is he locked up in someones's basement? Or how the hell did the Brigadier know how to read smoke signals? But from some riculous caper the Spiv has managed to get this weeks betting tips out to the world. We hope normal communicatuon is resumed next week, and we hope he's alright!
